THE WHISPERS - And the beat goes on

Il quintetto R&B The Whispers nasce nel 1964 a Los Angeles, in California, attorno ai gemelli Walter e Wallace Scott e debutta nel 1965 con “I Was Born When You Kissed Me”.

I loro più grandi successi furono “The Time Has Come” (1969) and “Seems Like I Gotta Do Wrong” (1970), ma riscossero un notevole successo anche negli anni seguenti con numerose uscite, come “And the Beat Goes On” (1980) and “Rock Steady” (1987).

Tra gli album si ricordano “Planets of Life” (1973), “Just Gets Better With Time” (1987) and “Toast to the Ladies” (1995).
